Our Governing Council

The Niger Foundation Hospital is overseen by a dedicated Governing Council (GC) that meets quarterly to review operational and financial performance, ensuring every resource advances our mission. These are the Members of Niger Foundation Hospital Governing Council.

Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye

Chairman

Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye is a pharmacist with an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical technology and industrial pharmacy (best graduating student in his class) as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an industrialist and the Chairman, Chief Executive of Juhel Nigeria, a conglomerate covering pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas and the beverage industries. He is a member of many Company Boards and Governing Councils of Educational Institutions and the current president of Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA).

Mr. Itobore Diejomaoh

Hospital Director, Member

Mr. Diejomaoh has a degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan. Prior to joining Niger Foundation Hospital, he worked in a research and consulting firm where his tasks mainly revolved around statistical analysis and project management. He is the current Hospital Director at NFH.

Iyom A. J. Offiah, SAN

Chief (Mrs.) Anayo Justina Offiah, SAN, a 1977 graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Nigeria, was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 1978. She has thereafter had an intensive and extensive law practice in both Civil and Criminal Litigations spanning Land, Matrimonial, Industrial, Commercial matters, Election Petitions, Arbitration and Conciliation. Mrs. Offiah has held many professional and non-professional positions in the public and private sectors, including a one-time Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. Chief Mrs. A. J. Offiah took Silk in September 2003. She is married to Dr. Evaristus Chukwudi Offiah, a happy wife, mother of six and a grandmother. She is a pioneer member on the Management Team and Governing Council of Niger Foundation Hospital.

Prof. Emmanuel Obikili

Prof. Emma Obikili

Member

Prof. Emmanuel Obikili obtained his MBBS from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a Consultant Radiologist in the University Teaching Hospital, Enugu and a Professor of Anatomy in the University of Nigeria. He is also an author, having written texts in anatomy and books on non-academic topics. He is a member of the governing council of Annunciation Hospital in Enugu.

Mr. Francis Mba

Francis Mba is a Finance Manager, Risk Expert, and Corporate Finance and Investment professional with over 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounts, Project Development, Business Strategy, and Leadership Development in Nigeria. He currently serves as Partner at Fag Consulting, where he drives new business development, stakeholder engagement, and market expansion across financial and non-financial sectors.\n\nFrancis holds a Master's in Business Administration (specialized project Finance) from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Second Class Honors, Upper Division) from Enugu State University. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.\n\nHe previously served as Finance Manager at Pan-Atlantic University, where he set up the institution's finance and accounts department, managed the construction of its main campus, and led fund-raising efforts that raised over $1.6 billion locally and internationally. He also serves as Trustee of the Lagos Business School Endowment Fund and has held leadership roles with the Enterprise Development Centre.

Prince Uche Ayalogu is an industrialist who is into large scale crop and animal farming and agro-allied business. He is a respected businessman and is on the board of several business organisations. He helps in fundraising for various social projects.

Dr Nneka Iloanusi

Member

Dr. Nneka Iloanusi is a board-certified and fellowship-trained radiologist, a Fellow of the Faculty of Radiology, West African College of Surgeons since 2008. She is a senior lecturer with the Department of Radiation Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, and an honorary consultant radiologist at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital. Her clinical, academic, and research interests are in oncology imaging and pediatric radiology. She also engages in infertility imaging and research. Dr. Iloanusi has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the imaging unit of Niger Foundation Hospital.

Dr Alexander Ifeanyi Anih

Member

Dr. Alexander Ifeanyi Anih is a Family Physician with over a decade of experience in healthcare delivery. His interests include primary and acute care in addition to health service operations management. He currently serves as the director of clinical services and the secretary of the Governing Council of Niger Foundation Hospital (NFH).

Mr. Chike Okeke

Chike Fabian Okeke is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience spanning banking operations, retail and commercial banking, business banking, public sector banking, and loan recovery. He began his career with Diamond Bank, later worked with Access Bank, and joined FCMB in 2011, where he has held several senior leadership positions. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt and an MBA in Banking and Finance from Enugu State University Business School. An Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), he is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Senior Management Programme and serves as an internal faculty facilitator for FCMB's Branch Economics programme.

Mr. Francis Ofodile

Finance Manager, Member

Francis Amaechi Ofodile is a finance and accounting professional who has served Niger Foundation Hospital for over three decades, joining as an Accounting Officer in 1993. He rose through the ranks as Accountant, Head of Audit, and, since 2012, Finance Manager, where he oversees the hospital's financial operations and stewardship. He holds an MBA in Accountancy from Imo State University, a B.Sc. in Accounting Education from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, and is a Certified National Accountant (ACMA), alongside further executive training at the Lagos Business School. He has also served for many years as Secretary of the Niger Foundation Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Staff Pension Fund Board of Trustees. Mr. Ofodile joined the Governing Council of Niger Foundation Hospital in December 2025.

The Niger Welfare Foundation (NWF)

NFH operates under the Niger Welfare Foundation, a registered non-profit established in 1990 to promote educational, cultural, social, and welfare projects across Nigeria. NWF ensures NFH remains mission-driven and fully aligned with equitable healthcare goals.
